HCLH03/17/2012
From PreparingU
Due to my family's washing machine breaking down on Thursday night and me trying to find the time to get it torn down, diagnosed and repaired, in addition to me having started demo on our upstairs bathroom on Thursday I have called all the local CoR families and cancelled our gathering that was scheduled for 2pm at my family's home in Glenwood.
We will reschedule our wheat preservation project for another week.
The HCLH Talk Shoe is still scheduled for its regular time: 1pm Central time.
The HCLH Talk Shoe ended about 3:30pm Central time. The participants were: Isabelle E., Nitsan-Parach, Brent J., David C. and myself. The discussions were all focused on gatherings, spreading the Good News, the Wiki, other networks, the nuts and bolts of the Kingdom...2.5 hours of seeking and striving.
Thanks for some great discussions and ideas.
On 3/18/2012 the CoR families of Pomerenke, Mosher and Kolt gathered at Golden Coral in Lake Manawa.
The Elders discussed: the Social Security video that BobbyMo shared with the whole group, which explains, the Trust relationship that is established when an individual signs up and joins the Social Security trust.
Also a discussion was brought up to have Missy of Raw Food Desires, a Whirlwind Tour 2011 presenter, cater a HCLH CoR gathering and let Missy know that we would be willing to volunteer to help her deliver meals to her clients since Missy's cancer is back and she will need time to heal.
Phyllis Mosher also informed the CoR that she and her "spinning club" were doing a spinning demo at the Western Trails Center Museum later that day.
And finally a discussion about how the CoR families can get out in the community to "Spread the Good News of the Kingdom". I had told Tim that we can have T-shirts made up that have our logo, name and all the HHC stuff on the T-shirts, and then we get out and volunteer to do different activities, like city-clean-up efforts, all wearing our shirts, and doing it as a group together, giving us a chance to spread the Good News and laying down kingdom tracks. Tim brought this idea up to the other Elders in attendance, and they discussed "Habitat for Humanity", and other groups that the CoR can reach out to.
Notes/minutes of the gathering were provided to the MOR by Elder Tim Pomerenke.
